Once you have completed registration you will be entered into the league database and will receive all future league season updates and correspondence via the email you entered at registration.

Our spring season will commence with games on Sunday, April 6 and run through June 8.  Game times may be scheduled between 10 am and 3 pm.  The official schedule will be posted as soon as all teams are selected.

Team practices are scheduled half an hour prior to your team's games on Sundays.  Your team coach may elect to have additional practices throughout the season. 

No. There will be a new draft each season following the tryout. (Players that do not show up to the tryout will not be available for a coach to pick, but will instead be randomly placed on a team in no specific order.)
This is the NFL Flag model and helps to promote socialization skills by meeting new teammates while also allowing our players to learn new concepts from different coaches. 

We are always looking for eager volunteers to help make the experience amazing for our players and fans.  Volunteers may be Coaches, Assistants, Scoreboard Operators, Clean-up or Set-up Crew and many others.  Referees are also needed.  Referees receive a per game fee.

Yes, we encourage all of our athletes to get involved with other sports, clubs and after school activities.  This is a major reason as to why we play and practice one day per week, on Sundays.

The registration fee is $150 which includes your player's official NFL Flag jersey, official NFL Flag belt and flags. Each player is required to wear these items during each league game. Additionally, players are required to wear a mouth guard during play.  

Other than the mouthpiece, you may want to purchase cleats/spikes for the turf football field, although they are not required, and shorts with no pockets (shorts can be ripped when someone misses a flag pull and grabs the pocket accidentally). 

From there it is totally up to you and your athlete. A lot of our players like to wear "drip" and "swag" merch found on the NFL Flag website (see NFL GEAR tab).

We currently offer registration to players in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. This normally equates to age 6 up to age 14.  

No, we welcome players from all over the Eastern Panhandle as well as Northern Virginia and Western Maryland. The best part is that, again, you only have to commit a few hours on a Sunday to travel to Martinsburg for games.

We currently post most everything on our Facebook page, Berkeley County Youth Flag Football League, including games and opportunities to win fun prizes. Following the Facebook page is currently the best way to keep up with current happenings.

We also have a league app, TeamSnap, that we post league news and updates on. Once registered you will automatically receive all correspondence through your registering email.
